General Manager

KAL is the not-for-profit, charitable leisure trust, responsible for managing 8 major leisure facilities across the Kirklees district of West Yorkshire.

After a challenging period of rationalisation, KAL is now in a positive position to move forward once again, with a hugely talented and energetic workforce, a strong partnership in place with Kirklees Council and a range of excellent local leisure facilities which are well used and much loved by local people.

Requirements of General Manager

· A strong appreciation of customer service excellence

· Experience of effectively managing and leading a range of teams and successfully delivering against clear targets

· High operational and cleanliness standards and an eye for detail

· Strong financial management skills and experience including procedural controls

Responsibilities of General Manager

· Line management of several Operations Managers across KAL sites

· Operations and day to day management of KAL sites

· Work with KAL's various corporate teams on the integrated development and effective implementation of appropriate new products and initiatives.
