About Head Coach
LNSC is a SwimMark-accredited club based at three different pools within Leicester and Leicestershire. We have around 150 swimmers, ranging from Swim England Level 7 up to and including County/Regional levels. LNSC has an inclusive ethos, balancing participation and competition. A part-time role, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Club and be a part of the next stage of our development.
The Club has a growing membership at the Junior end with a committed and enthusiastic Senior squad. LNSC also caters for more fitness-based swimmers and has a small but passionate Masters squad. We have a team of around 10 teachers/coaches, a supportive committee, and enthusiastic volunteers. LNSC has a very sound basis from which to progress, which is why this appointment is seen as being a minimum of 3-5 years in the first instance.
The successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and committed, with the ability to motivate and inspire swimmers to reach their full potential. The Head Coach will provide leadership and be involved across the Club, allowing swimmers to progress to the best of their abilities.

- Attend competitions – galas, internal club meets, team galas, open meets, Counties/Regionals.
- Liaise with the coaching team to cover absences when necessary

- Effective communication within the Club
Other responsibilities:

- The Head Coach will be employed under a contract for the provision of services and will not be an employee of the club
