Channel Swim Challenge

Channel Swim Challenge

Dive in this summer and take on your own swimming challenge to raise funds that will help blind and partially sighted people get active.

Join Paralympian Melanie Barratt's incredible bid to become the first blind woman, in history, to successfully swim the English Channel.

You'll be raising vital funds for British Blind Sport (BBS), helping us to empower people living with a visual impairment through the power of sport.

Every stroke counts! Choose your challenge:

· Go the full distance: match Melanie's epic swim and complete 21 miles.

· Short but sweet: conquer 21 pool lengths or complete a swim session 21 times.

· Feeling ambitious, or short on pool time? Choose a distance or challenge that fit your goals.

As a thank you, participants will each receive a certificate of achievement. In addition:

· Raise over £50, you will receive a BBS Channel Swim Challenge swimming hat.

· Raise over £100, you will receive a special BBS Swim Bag to commemorate your challenge.

· Raise over £150, you will receive a limited-edition BBS Channel Swim Challenge t-shirt.

Stay motivated, stay connected:

· Get your own fundraising page: we'll provide a link to create your own Just Giving page, making it easy to collect donations and track your progress.

· Join our private Facebook and Strava groups: share your swim journey with the group, encourage and inspire others.

So, ditch the jellyfish and big waves, and join our virtual challenge this summer! Let's make a splash for a great cause together. Suitable for all ages and ability levels.
