Active Plus Membership is suitable for those aged 18 and over who need a recreational sight classification to compete nationally.
For £20 per year, members can benefit from:
- Playing in one of the BBS Sport Sections - Archery or Tenpin
- One free recreational sight classification recognised at all national visually impaired events and competitions in the UK
- Monthly e-newsletter filled with information on the latest events and news from the sector
- Access to the BBS Helpline Monday-Friday to receive advice from the team
- Bi-annual Vision publication
- Early access to booking of BBS events to try out various sport and physical activities
- Access to the BBS Be Active Facebook group where you can connect with a community of like-minded individuals
- Access to a collection of BBS resources to learn more about VI-inclusive sport and physical activities
- 5% discount off running tethers and swim caps from the BBS Shop
To sign up as an Active Plus Member, you first need to register for an account using the 'My Account' button at the top right-hand side of this page.
Once you have registered for your account, apply for an Active Plus Membership under the 'My Memberships' section on your dashboard.
