Badminton Coordinator - Part Time
Wyre Forest Leisure Centre are looking to expand their badminton opportunities by putting on additional Smash Up (secondary school) and No Strings Badminton (casual pay & play) sessions at the site. They're looking for an enthusiastic coordinator who can help deliver sessions on a weekly basis. The role would involve making players feel welcome, managing equipment, making sure everyone gets lots of court-time, and helping the sessions to run smoothly.
This paid role currently offers 1.5 hours per week, but the centre are looking to expand this significantly depending on the coordinator's availability.
As a coordinator, you'll be paid £8 per hour, with the potential of running several hours per week.
You don't need to be a badminton expert or qualified coach to be successful in this role, but an interest or experience playing the sport would be a bonus. You should be friendly and welcoming with good people and communication skills.
Anyone who is interested should contact Jess Turner on JessTurner@pfpleisure.org
