Dr. Harriet Dunn recently competed in the Para-laser European Run Championship in Madeira on 6th July and became a Para-laser run European champion. Competing in this Championship was Dr. Dunn's first time representing her country at European level.
Para-laser run is an event that combines running with laser shooting. It is an inclusive version of Modern Pentathlon.
While having played various sports throughout her life, Dr. Dunn first took up the sport just over 12 months prior in the spring time of 2023 following a conversation with a colleague at Liverpool John Moores University who had been working on evolving Para-Penthalon to be more accessible.
