Young Leader Recognition Awards
Here at British Blind Sport, we are amazed at what our Young Leaders have accomplished whilst part of the See My Voice programme. We want to be able to acknowledge our young people and the difference that they have made at a personal, local, and national level. Therefore, we are hosting the Young Leader Recognition Awards to celebrate Young Leaders’ achievements through volunteering and to mark three years of our See My Voice project!
Entry is open to all Young Leaders that have undertaken some form of volunteering throughout their time in See My Voice, and for all organisations that have hosted Young Leaders as volunteers.
Nominations for the Young Leader Recognition Awards (YLRAs) will open on Monday 26th October and close on Friday 20th November. Applicants can nominate themselves or others who they think deserve to win an award in one of the five categories.
The YLRA categories are;
- Volunteering Hours Award
- Personal Achievement Award
- Volunteering Moment Award
- Social Impact Moment Award
- Outstanding Host Organisation Award
The winners and runners up will be selected by an independent panel of judges, including Roy Turnham, ex-Paralympic and England blind footballer!
