As we celebrate 50 years of British Blind Sport (BBS), we're inviting our community to join us on a journey down memory lane. Memory Lane: 50 Years On is a special campaign that gives you the chance to share your personal experiences and memories of BBS over the years.
Whether you're an athlete, coach, volunteer, or supporter, your stories form an important part of our history.
Some types of examples of memories that you can share with us:
- Did your sporting journey begin at a BBS Have a Go Day?
- Do you remember competing in your first BBS athletics or swimming competition?
- Has sport through BBS helped you make lifelong friends?
- Were you involved as a coach, official or volunteer at one of our events?
Your contributions will feature across BBS's social media platforms, in our monthly e-newsletter, and on our website.
How to take part:
To share your memory, please send it in written, audio or video format (no longer than 60 seconds) to BBS Communications Assistant by email to marcomms@britishblindsport.org.uk by Friday 5th September.
