Lauren is currently a HR Business Partner at UK Sport, the UK's high-performance sports agency. She is responsible for the design and delivery of UK Sport's People Strategy, and Business Partner to UK Sport's Senior Leaders and their management teams.
Previously, Lauren has worked as a Secondary school teacher, her career transitioning from Education to HR through a passion for sharing knowledge and for developing people.
"It is this passion that has led me to join the Board at British Blind Sport and I'm really looking forward to adding value and making a positive contribution to such an important charity."
Lauren is a wife and mum of two boys, and in her spare time enjoys travelling the UK exploring new locations, beautiful walks and stunning scenery. She has been interested in sport all her life; a keen swimmer and netballer at university level and now enjoys them recreationally, along with bike rides with her family.
