British Blind Sport Have a Go Day Surrey

The British Blind Sport Have a Go Day programme is coming to Surrey and we would love for you to join us!

Working with Sight For Surrey, Surrey Short Breaks For Disabled Children and Mole Valley Inclusive Sport, the event will take place at Leatherhead Leisure Centre on Sunday 15th July, from 11am to 5pm. Register for the Surrey Have a Go Day by clicking here.

Come along and take part in a FREE day of activities and fun including tennis, cricket, football, gymnastics, goalball, dance, guide running! Open to anyone with a visual impairment aged 5 and up, adults and children as well as friends, family or siblings. British Blind Sport prides itself on delivering accessible sporting events and the programme has already been successfully delivered in Cambridge and Liverpool this year with more dates and venues to come. Here’s what a participant said about their recent experience:

“I liked trying sports that were especially for visually impaired people. We might have a go at junior parkrun now!”

Venue: Leatherhead Leisure Centre, Guildford Rd, Fetcham, Leatherhead, KT22 9BL.

Date: Sunday 15th July, from 10.45am to 2.30pm
