Covid-19 Status Update

Covid-19 Status Update

The health of our members, participants, volunteers, staff and trustees is of paramount importance.

We are doing all we can to work with key stakeholders in the sporting sector to ensure that people with visual impairments are being considered as the regulations for returning to physical activity are made and that they are not left behind whilst others can get back to the activities they love.

We have some specific guidance regarding leisure centres and communal facilities, which we have worked alongside RNIB, Metro Blind Sport and Visionary to create. Please click here to read our sport and leisure operators guidance.

We have also collated the return to play guidance for the NGBs with whom we work closely, to ensure that people with a visual impairment are able to return to those activities safely. Please click here to read the various NGB guidance documents.

We hope our members and service users are all taking advantage of our online library of free and audio-led at home workouts to ensure they stay fit and healthy. Physical activity is also a great boost for positive mental health and combats feelings of social isolation.

You can find our online workout library by clicking here.
