Birmingham remain on course to clinch the PSFL Division One title
Birmingham Sports remain top of Division One of the National Partially Sighted Football League after the latest round of fixtures in Birmingham on Saturday 28th February.
Birmingham’s lead at the top of the table is now just seven points after the league leaders won three of their four fixtures.
In their first game Birmingham were demolished 6-1 by reigning champions London Metro A before winning a close encounter with North West Scorpions 4-3.
In their third game Birmingham thrashed Loughborough Lions 7-2 before beating bottom side RNC Bulls 5-4.
Elsewhere second placed London scored 16 goals in their four games as they also defeated the Bulls 4-1 and Loughborough 5-0.
In their final game of the day, London were held to a 1-1 draw with the Scorpions.
Meanwhile bottom side RNC secured four points from four games and secured just their third win in 20 games after beating the Scorpions 4-2 and drawing 4-4 with Loughborough.
Elsewhere Loughborough defeated the Scorpions 3-1 in a mid table clash.
Birmingham go into the final league weekend on Saturday 21st March requiring just six points to clinch the league title.
