BBS National Young Leader Camp (Residential)

British Blind Sport’s National Young Leader Camp

With the first two events being so popular we have been fast to secure the next dates for you. If you are interested in signing up for the next one click here!

What is happening?

On the back of two successful National Young Leader Camps during Spring and Autumn 2019, we have pulled together the dates for the next camp!

It takes place between Monday, 6th April – Thursday, 9th April 2020 – so SAVE THE DATE!

Whilst we understand that this might not be your holiday period, given it is an educational week we are happy to help inform your school of how this opportunity will support you in your future prospects.

This camp is specifically designed to give young people with a visual impairment the opportunity to have fun, play sports and make new friends, whilst developing key leadership and employability skills through a qualification accredited by Sports Leaders UK. In addition to this, all campers are supported to lead a sports session/activity of their choice, demonstrating their newly developed skills. Some will even be involved in delivering a Try VI Sports Day!

The residential camp, which will take place at the Royal National College for the Blind, Hereford, is suitable for to 10 to 20 year olds with a visual impairment in England that are able to be independent for the duration of the residential camp.
