Accessibility

General information

We are working to make this site as accessible and easy to use as possible. This means we took accessibility into account when we built and tested the site.  We will monitor the development of the site as technologies change.

We have designed this site with accessibility in mind. Some of the general features include:

  • The use of common web conventions.
  • The use of clear, simple language which makes it easier to understand.
  • Avoiding blinking or flickering elements.

We strive to obey the spirit of the UK Disability Discrimination Act 1995 with respect to the provision of services online, as required by the Disability Rights Commission. Changes to improve accessibility are ongoing, but if you come across a page you find difficult to use please let us know.

Many internet users can find websites difficult to use due to the way they have been designed. We recognise that this is an important issue and are striving to make changes to ensure that British Blind Sport website is accessible in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines

If you have any problems using the site, especially if you used assistive technology, please get in touch.
